Hello, my name is Kimberley.

Hello, my name is Kimberley.

I am a proud mum of 3 gorgeously unique children; two of which are autistic. As a SEN mum I have had first-hand experience of what it is like trying to navigate complex health and education systems to advocate for your child.

I am also a registered learning disability nurse with the Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC) and work as an Autism Consultant Nurse at Autism Oxford UK Limited, while also co-chairing the Autism Consultant Nurse Network National and I work with NICE as an ADHD group member, and also with the NDTi as a Clinical Expert for Care Education Treatment Reviews.

I have been lucky enough to speak at the houses of parliament around my work with autistic people and people with a learning disability and also been shortlisted for national awards.

In my 10 years of working in the NHS within Oxfordshire, I have gained extensive experience in assessing the health needs of autistic people and people with a learning disability. I particularly enjoy supporting autistic people with a PDA profile (pathological demand avoidance) and ADHD.
